Being immune to bullets implies that projectiles don't do anything to them at all. They can ignore being shot in the chest, as they have no use for the contents of that area (much like how a zombie isn't affected by being shot in the heart). It's not a matter of "immunity", but a factor of "ignoring shots to redundant parts of their biology".

I also believe that the double tap was just used to make sure that they were actually dead, as was demonstrated when that lady was bit after she assumed the infected she shot was dead.

also, Tallahassee- Biggest bad ass in a zombie film ever. Sorry guys, but I want him to be my dad.

I guess we saw different movies then. remember the ridiculous scene in the fun-park when the zombie is crawling towards the two girls on the ride getting shot multiple times in the chest and body and does not even flinch? or the girl at the very start of the movie who he has to smash over the head to stop ? or when the woman fails to double tap and shoots the guy down on the ground only for him to get back up and bite her?

i am not saying its a bad movie, it was fun but it was the least plausible zombie flick ever and had zero respect or homage to real zombie movies.

oh and i thought 28 days later sucked. it was a complete cop-out for assholes who think they are too mature to like zombie movies. it was also incredibly anti-climactic with the bullshit in the army barracks. it was the 'trip hop' of zombies movies. people who are afraid to say they like rap say they listen to 'trip hop'

Resurrecting this thread for a sec. I didn't feel like this deserved it's own thread but wanted to share.

So I'm on my way home from a family vacation to the beach yesterday. We stop in this small little town when I start to feel like I've been there before. I probably had been there before, but it felt like it was recently and I knew it couldn't be. Then it hit me....it was used as a town square in Zombieland.

(taking some pics posted earlier in the thread)

    Mine(sorry about the dirty windshield)

If you don't recognize it......its from the scene where Harrelson's character beats the windows out of a van with a crowbar.

So that's my random story of the day. Thought it was funny to kinda stumble upon that.

That was an awesome spot of a completely random pop up in the terrain, Bassman! Good eyes!

That must have been a weird feeling of happenstance, eh?

That's amazing that you recognized the town from the movie. And awesomely cool that you took some pics to share!!

So did you force them to stop so you could check the convenience store for twinkies on the way out? As you were taking the pictures did you say, "You gotta enjoy the little things." Did you insist that everyone call you Jeogia for the rest of the trip?

Basically, did you act in such a way that everyone in the car thought you were a loon?
Just look at my face. You can tell I post at HPOTD.

Yeah, I admit I had a bit of a flip out when I figured out where I was. My wife was giving me this funny look like I had gone off the deep end. I stopped and asked her to take pictures with me in a few of the locations. Her response was "I'm not getting out and taking pictures of you acting like a f*cking zombie." So I just had her take them from the car.

It's the closest I've been to a movie set for a film that I care about. Well....with the exception of the ending car chase to Smokey and the Bandit. I travel that stretch of highway almost everyday. It's so tempting to zoom across the median, on/off the ramps, etc.

Dude, you've got tomake the pilgrimage to Manhattan, atleast one time and I'm sure you'll come across atleast 50 locations that would fit that criteria.

Especially...what's that one again that starts with a g and the funny dudes running around with lasers again?

Off subject , i know, but let's not retend that GAr's move to start filming in Canada instead of where it all started has nothing to do with why his films are of lesser quality.

All i can say is that the man has made some really puzzling decisions in his career.

Reason being: it's cheaper to film in Canada.
